Ouija Clown

Honestly, the two girls were so annoying, I couldn't wait for them to be bumped off. The acting was terrible (c'mon, most child actors are very good at their craft). I wondered if the girl doing the makeup tutorial could put any more makeup on her face, making the clown look downright subdued compared to her (and believe me, there were too many shots of their overly madeup faces). The script was pretty amateur, the sound kept cutting out to a level where it could barely be heard. The clown was textbook, the scares were predictable, and as mentioned before the acting is abysmal.

If this was a real scenario, those two little girls would have thrown the camera and gotten the hell outta that bedroom, but they continue to film. "Is he under the bed?" one girl asks, and predictably the sad clown appears under the bed. "Where'd he go?" is used over and over again, and it's easy to believe the scriptwriters were chosen from the local elementary school in a competition.

I'd only recommend this if you're in need of a good laugh.

I don't give a lot of one-star reviews. I try to find some positive attributes when someone goes to the trouble of putting a movie out for the public. Maybe pretty scenery, good set design, or at least one person in the film could act. There is no aspect of filmmaking where this mess would warrant more than one star. Not the script, not the acting, not the cinematography, nothing. I did find it interesting that one of the kids in the movie was included in the writing credits. After watching this I fully believe it was written by a 12 year-old.

I like that platforms like Tubi have given almost anyone the ability to put movies out there, but it doesn't mean almost anyone should.
