The sad part of this show is that the accuracy that it portrays those under 30 is way too accurate. They are more concerned with being superficial and breaking what they consider are oppressive societal norms. If you were to look at the bulk of LDS women over the age of 30, they do not share these same values as these ladies do. All this was, was taking a group of spoiled twenty something year old moms that are completely fake and only care about themselves. It was just another version of real housewives, just set to the LDS religion. Hopefully most people who are watching this, will see that this is the case. And based off of most comments I'm seeing and reviews, this seems to be the case.
Why would I watch a show about random women?
It wasn't about their Mormon lives. It wasn't even about TikTok. I didn't know anything about them before watching, and I'm not Mormon by any means, so I'm not going to criticize their choices or whatever.
But it was so boring.
Would it be interesting to get a glimpse into the lives of Mormon women? Yes, probably. Instead, all I'm getting is a group of women having endless conversations about who's the bitch and why men often suck. I could've watched literally any other reality show.
The show tries so hard to be entertaining but fails miserably. What was that with the farm? I don't buy it. It feels like the only reason she's there is to avoid showing more footage of her just staying home with her family.
Oh, and Mayci dear, congratulations on making Gryffindor. Your father and I are so proud. (Mayci is so pretty.)

Hulu is once again glorifying garbage human beings who are living in a way that is completely bringing down our society. The content is baseless and the strange opening scene tries to elevate the look of people who have broken their families and ruined their children's lives. I don't want to see this type of ennobling and backwards perspectives on people who shouldn't even have a show. Everything in this "reality" show is through a warped looking glass from people living in a bubble of their own making and then acting as if someone put them there against their will. This show and others like it are a cancer. Cancel Hulu. I am.
Not only is the religion this show claims to be about being misrepresented (using b-roll of Catholic Churches and stained glass, among many other things). It's crazy that these women are getting any sort of tv show or screen time. I understand there is a market for brain rot and idiocy, but this is unbelievable.
If you want to learn about Mormons, this will be a great look into a really small specific group and their personal drama. They don't deserve an audience, they don't deserve to represent any type of origination in any way, shape, or form. I'm disappointed to be in the same generation as these degenerate, attention seeking screenagers.

Women who don't actually seem to care about their religion, but instead wanted a shot to be real housewives.
Shallow, foul human beings.
Sensationalized and misleading portrayal of LDS women. Instead of offering an authentic look at their lives, it focuses on rare, fringe situations that distort reality for shock value. The show lacks nuance, perpetuates harmful stereotypes, and does a disservice to viewers looking for genuine insight. Rather than fostering understanding, it exploits its subjects for entertainment. If you're looking for a thoughtful exploration of Mormon culture, this is not the place to find it.
