Beyond the Shoreline: The Channel of Bones

This film is one of my new favorites. I could watch it over and over again. It captured my attention and kept me wanting more. I was inspired and left feeling so much joy, excitement, and the love of God! Hearing and watching Steve's story was one that showed true determination, perseverance, and the purpose we all have to use our God-given talents to glorify Him and serve others. Seeing and hearing about what he uses his talents for is absolutely phenomenal!

The film was made so phenomenally and crafted so well. Everything about it was AMAZING! The way the interviews flowed so well with other clips in the movie and so on. Everything about it was absolutely AMAZING!!! 1000% worth it and I highly recommend!

What a wonderful testimony of faith, courage and endurance this documentary shows. Quite an eye opener for serious open water swimmers (and their families). I recommend it to not just open water swimmers, but to anyone who has a dream of completing a specific swim, hiking the highest mountain, diving the deepest sea.... whatever your dream/goal may be, I recommend watching "Channel of Bones". Rarely do i watch a documentary all the way through, but this one kept my attention. I loved that it showed through trust in God, faith and determination that one can conquer all things. Kudos to all involved in making this excellent documentary.

The story that Steve and Kel share is very inspiring. They share their challenges, how they have over come, what they have had to sacrifice to reach their goals. They also face their failures. They openly share their faith and dependance on God. How His mercy has led them on this journey to help others. Sometimes it takes personal sacrifices to reach goals, it usually is not easy, it takes determination and dedication. The goals that have been set are huge, the returns will be bigger. In dedicating this portion of their lives to this cause, they will have exponential returns in the lives of the children and families that the money generated by this swim helps. Not everyone is called to open water swim but every one is called to help others in some way. This film encourages self reflection, what can I do to make life better for someone that can't help themselves.

This documentary is incredible! Every emotion was felt while watching. Truly an inspirational story of determination, perseverance, and using God-given talents to benefit and help others. The film captured my attention and kept it throughout the entirety of it. If you want to experience excitement, joy, thrill, and to sit on the edge of your seat - this is the film for you! You will leave feeling the love of Christ and feeling so inspired. The documentary style was fabulous and made me want to keep watching and kept me wanting more. Wonderful, WONDERFUL film! Incredible film making and an amazing story! HIGHLY recommend and 100% worth the watch! Steve Leitch's story is absolutely amazing.
