Sun Li brings Hu Manli to life: lively, a bit street-smart, but grounded by integrity and heart. She's far from the usual "strong woman" cliché - flawed, real, and relatable. The theme song "Manli Manli" is super catchy and fits her perfectly. Dong Zijian plays the naive yet determined rookie with charm, while Myolie Wu surprises as a gentle-looking character with a sharp, even ruthless edge. Both performances add great depth.

I've watched several of Sun Li's workplace dramas before, including I Will Find You a Better Home and The Ideal City, and I really loved them. Sun Li's acting is undoubtedly top-notch. Before watching A Better Life, I already had high expectations, but I didn't expect Sun Li's portrayal of Hu Manli to exceed them! From being a top insurance salesperson to suddenly becoming unemployed and divorced, every episode is full of surprises. I found myself getting more and more hooked as I watched. Hu Manli is bold and lively, and Sun Li's subtle yet natural performance truly moved me.

Additionally, Myolie Wu's portrayal of the mistress, Qiu Lisu, was a pleasant surprise; it's such a refreshing change from the roles she usually plays. The plot is absolutely binge-worthy, and with two award-winning actresses leading the way, I'd give this drama a solid 10 out of 10 stars!
