Unang tikim

"Unang Tikim" works without sex scenes and it can stand on its own. This film surprisingly the best Vivamax movie this year! The film is simple and just focus on the two woman whose both in love. It's about lost and found love. Robb Guinto and Angeli Khang stands out as the lead. They movie carry this film until the end. Both of them has chemistry and it's magical on screen. Bravo to both of them! You can sympathize them on everything throughout the film. The whole film is elegant thanks to a brilliant cinematography. I was kinda surprised that this the lightest film by the Cult Director, Direk Roman Perez Jr.

Overall, "Unang Tikim" is one of the best Filipino GL movie I've seen this year! I saw the R16 version and I would definitely watch the R18 version whenever it is available and the Vivamax version. A must see Filipino movie!

This was my first time watching a GL film, and it centers around the theme of first love (that never dies). The movie has its cute and kilig moments 💙. However, the storyline feels overused and is common in "straight" love stories, making it somewhat predictable. What makes this film stand out is its unique take by featuring two girls as lovers, but I just wish it delved deeper into the complexities of being in that kind of relationship. The sexy scenes felt unnecessary, but since it's a Vivamax film, I get that it's part of their intention. Overall, it's a good movie, but it could have explored more depth and emotion for a more impactful experience.
