A new mystery every week. Grantchester is a fictional village near the city of Cambridge, England in the late 1950's and ,so far, up to early 1960's. Lovely English scenery. Characters are engaging and become like family, if you watch from season 1 on. The Vicars (3 of them, so far) become interested in aiding the local constabulary to solve the crime (murder) of the week. But, there's the background drama going on among the regular characters, also. This keeps you wanting to get to the next chapter to find out the solution to their current problem. And , of course, there is always a reasonable solution to the personal problem and the arrest of the perpetrator of the crime. All in less than an hour. An enjoyable show with a rarity for today. Clean language.
