I think most of the reviews on here are really just automated from chat-gpt bs to fluff up it's ratings; they definitely didn't watch the same movie I watched.
The story was a failed attempt to copy the movie "hitch", a big city dating coach with a heart of gold falls for a jaded person who is out of their reach but gets them in the end, but only after nearly giving up and packing their bags to leave in defeat over a misunderstanding.
The acting was awful on the lead male, The girls all say he's perfect in everything, even in bed, and he's as boring as cardboard. All he has is the veneer of money, which, doesn't cover up his toneless lack of charm.
The storyline was flat and a toddler could guess the lines and cues.
Female lead did better but couldn't un-sink the ship
The end was too dumb and childish to comprehend... He flew everyone out to Korea to ask her to be his girlfriend? What?? So dumb I'm stupider now for watching this, I blame my wife, lol!

Good plot, good view, and "Aya" was awesome. She delivered and was a natural. The two leads though engaging were not as genuine as the other casts, it didn't feel natural. Barbie as always shines when she needs to let go of her tears and was very effective in being a good and loving daughter. David has nuances that speaks of his role but still needs to do better (John Loyd would be a good fit for this role during his prime years, i cannot think of anyone on this generation that could match his charisma, Joshua maybe?). There were some scenes that were cringey and lacking, probably because Barbie still looks young for this role and at times David underdelivered. Sophia was amply performed well by Kaila, not too much, not too lacking. To succinctly put it, good storyline, ill fitting leads.
I only ever watch one local movie on repeat and that's Rico and Claudine's Got 2 Believe. I watched this movie 3 times already after its debut on Netflix.
This is a feel-good movie, something light yet thoughtful and poignant without coming across as preachy. I particularly like the natural banter and the seamless back and forth of Barbie and David, the expressive eyes, sexual tension and natural closeness - as if they were having irl convos and we're all peeping into their private world.
Highly recommended for people who wants to be entertained and end up falling in love after watching. Something you should pop up on your screen when stressed and looking for something to cheer you up.

Acting of leads were both good but in some scenes, the male leads had issues with delivery of lines but overall is satisfactory.
Storyline is quite predictable but no dull moments so you'll keep watching. The ending is not what I have expected but I am still satisfied.
Cinematography is 10/10 for me. They selected the best filming locations and the camera's angles were good. It's like watching a kdrama.
Chemistry of the main leads is 10/10. It's a beautiful pairing because they look so good together and that alone could be a reason to watch the movie hehe. No sensual kissing scenes but the "kilig" is to the highest level LOL.
