The Girl in Yellow

The movie you're about to watch is based on true events stemming back from 1933. There are no delusions of grandeur here; This found footage movie is more than a simple genre film. It is a true to life story of an ancient painting. The movie starts off with a bang and i was engaged the whole time. Yes as a man i was turned on by the well figured lead actress. The painting created lots of terror for this helpless college aged girl and it was relentless. Even the most predictable events have you gripping the armrests in white knuckled fear but those are just garnishes for the scares that keep the story unfolding at a rollicking rate. The narrative is simple and straightforward, but the pacing is well times and i did not get bored at all. This was a fun movie overall.

Point of view movies are ALWAYS controversial and rarely done correctly on purpose. The reporter in this movie reminded so much with the reporter in the found footage film REC so it felt INSPIRED to watch this new indie FF Film. This supernatural film proceeds in a more unique direction and shows more of the paranormal side of horror. It is one of the creepy films I've seen that made me restless a little bit. The acting could have been better but their were some great acting in the movie too. The story might be feel simple but I had to tune in closely to understand what was going on. I think this movie needs more reviews. It's 100% worth a watch if you're a fan of FF Movies, or Paranormal movies in general. Recommended.

Hey horror friends, I was pretty scared by this film but not as much as id like to be. The plot twist was crazy because there were two paintings in the movie and at first I wasn't sure which one was haunted. The scary part of the movie was the silence that it brought when someone was asleep. The painting looks sweet at first but it gets uglier as the movie progresses. I love portraits so I am just fascinated how an innocent looking piece of art can be so brutal. I was shook on how helpless a person can be when they are having a nervous breakdown. Their was also an evil chair that was relentless. This movie has some inventive scares and an intriguing origin story, making it a worthy entry in the found videos genre. The painting was what really scared me.

Found Footage is a hit or miss sub-genre of horror but I thought The Girl In Yellow was a helluva lot better than the Blair Witch. I thought this one was done well without the crazy camera shakes. The characters were also interesting and funny too. I actually liked the trailer so I was drawn to watch it. It was a lot creepier and jumpier than I thought it would be. Although the ending is kind of predictable, I still think it's worth seeing it.

I got a chance to screen this unknown found footage film. At first, I thought it was going to be one of those boring movies that will make me fall asleep but I was wrong 100%. As I continued to watch the film, I felt somewhat uneasy and I was having some anxiety issues along the way. The subtle creepiness kept me engaged the whole time and there were times were the scenes were so creepy that I couldn't really look at the movie screen. The terror started to get more frightening as the movie progressed. If you like realistic style horror movies, then this is a must watch, It's a diamond in the rough.
