I just learned that this is a true story of Ms. Marjorie Aviso.

So when I watched the movie, I went out of the cinema with so much respect for her because of how she overcome all the challenges she faced to become where she is right now.

Her passion, love, and care for the community is really on another level.

Thank you for sharing in this movie how being a woman, with a dream, and succeeding the male-dominated industry with a purpose of empowering and uplifting women.

And because this is a true story, I love how this movie showed the importance of mental health.

Worth to watch. The plot is simple, but if we will really look closely to the flow of the story while keeping in mind that all those scenes happened in real life, it will really touch something within you.

As a woman came from the province who built my first dream in the choatic city, I myself experienced prejudices, personal doubts, surpassed many challenges. Me too, was stiffled from the past trauma, individually we had stories and faith to tell on how we overcome difficult situations.

This movie offered so much realization that gives a clear facade for us to see the light of hope to overshadow anxiety. The character of Marge is a reflection of briging the gap amidst cultural diversity, empowered woman, and a bent of a successful invidual.

But truly successs never comes from individual satisfaction, having financial stability or material things are nothing compared to the desire of your true intention in giving back to your society, uplifting the deserving spirits, changing them into the best version of themselves. When I watched the movie my heart felt something. Something that makes me want to never give up on myself and onto others. And if there is one line in this movie that I will never forget it will be the "Gender is not a barrier to success." Because I am also a firmly believer that we are more that just our gender. We have a different kind of qualities that makes us unique and special.

The character Ms. Marge reminds me of the song of Taylor Swift. Where in one of the character was Dorothea, a girl who left her small town to chase down Hollywood/ big dreams. I am so proud of marge for having the courage to leave her comfort zone and try new things. I am happy that see finally healed and learned to choose her battles.

Additionally, Marge's husband, Wil caught my attention also. I appriciate how loving, understanding, and caring he is. Not just to Marge but also to their Kids. He's always there to calm down Marge, to support her, to help her, and to love her even in her most unlovable days. He still chose to stay. And that reminds me of the saying "If he wanted to, he would." Because when there are so many reasons to leave Marge, he stayed, cause he wanted to. Oh to be loved by a man like Wil.
