A fun family show! "Last Bite Hotel" has been a kooky, entertaining spin on typical food competition shows. Our whole family has enjoyed sitting & watching what the chefs come up with while also bringing up conversations about the different props on set, the different chefs and of course, Tituss and his "Igor-esque-ness."
This is meant to be a FUN competition, allowing the chefs an opportunity to think critically, be creative, compete for $25k while allowing families a fun & entertaining seasonal show. Not everything in life needs to be taken seriously and this show is one outlet our family enjoys all together. (Even when we don't agree with who gets sent to room 13!)

I put off watching this show because it seemed weird. But one day when watching Chopped, (which I love more than all other cooking competitions) I didn't feel like changing the channel to find something else. I watched & was surprised. It's not the typical cooking show. Don't expect to get any tips or learn anything. It's really a Comedy meets Cooking show.........It's QUIRKY. Titus Burgess steals the show. I don't think I've ever watched anything with him in it but now I find something. And they did a smart move putting after Chopped. T he Episode I watched had Andrew Zimmern as a guest, I love him.

Tituss absolutely KILLS IT as host!! I was sorry I found this after spooky season but so glad I found it at all. Tituss is absolutely hilarious and adorable as the host. I love the unique twists to a cooking competition and greatly appreciate the smaller group of chefs. This is an absolute must watch. There had better be 20 more seasons to come as well but only if Tituss hosts them all! I wish the keys had been explained at the beginning of the show though. I had to do some internet sleuthing to figure out what they meant and that was a little annoying. I wish there were more episodes also but understand and simultaneously appreciate the short season.
I was so impressed with the creativity of the chefs in this show. To be able to come up with the meals they created given the pantries they had and the ingredients that kept diminishing was amazing. I also loved all the judges and knew most of them and really respect their opinions. What ruined the show for me was the ridiculous host. I admit I am totally unfamiliar with him, but I thought a show like this with such creativity of chefs and such esteemed judges deserved more than an overacting joke of a character for a host. I found him intolerable. The only reason I stuck with it was because of the talent of the chefs they had on the show. They really amazed me every week. And now we have one week left. I'm anxious to see who wins but all that are left are definitely worthy. I would love to see this come back for another season with a more serious host. I found this guy to be an insult to the integrity of the show.
I lived Iron Chef, both the original and American versions, but was always put off by the fakery of the "chairman." Same here, with a show set ona. Fake hotel with a fake proprietor (an otherwise plesant Titus Burgess) who drips with fake drama.
It's embarrassing to the caliber of chefs on the show, including Top Chef and Food Network albums. The premise of the show- limited ingredients and difficult challenges- is fun. But why does FoodNW treat us like we need the fakery? We dont.
I thought Guy's Grocery Games was a bit over-the-top but at least Guy's is sincere and seemingly unscripted. Titus is too dramatic and fake. I'll bet he could be a normal host with a great, real personality!
