Sunn Mere Dil

If you're expecting to be glued to your screen watching this big show with the big cast, well then I have some bad news for you. The screenplay is extremely slow and unnecessarily stretched out. Very dragging scenes with constant music & repetition that doesn't evoke any emotion in the audience. The main characters lack depth & some have no significance to the story. Very disappointed. The actors are speaking very slow in very outdated & cringe dialogues. This show, script and screenplay is very outdated, used up & uninteresting. Unfortunately, even a star cast like this one can't save a badly written script and screenplay.

Where to begin with this awful drama. The rating of 5 is only because visually it was nice to look at. That's about it.

The good actors could not save it from the fact that the writing is horrible. The misogynistic views of the writer are crystal clear, where the women are so stunningly dumb that they can walk away from a potentially great relationship into the arms of someone they have clearly shown contempt for (I'm still actually completely puzzled why, except that she's a woman and must be dumb). Or the women are just conniving home wreckers or rumor spreaders.

The only worthy character, of course, is the alpha male, who is so tragically misunderstood. All his womanizing and drinking was of course the result of a woman's betrayal. He stays stalwart even though there's a tempest of badmouthing, wishy washy, unfaithful women around him.

You'll think all the characters are mentally ill, maybe bipolar. Because of the stunningly stupid dialogue and behavior reversals. Let's not even get started with the really weird romanticizing of suicide as a test of true love. I'm actually afraid this will be a horrible message to young people in love.

Save yourself the aggravation. Watch something else.

Drama mainly revolves around the emotional, kind of poetic character Bilal who falls in love with sadaf. Wahaj as BA is excellent. Actors are doing great but script is average. Bilal has been associated with bad habits of alcohol and having relations with women due to his painful past but he changes as he falls in love with sadaf. It's all fantasy, poetic kind of love. Screen play looks good. If the drama wasn't that slow paced, It would have been more better. Also drama doesn't have extra scenes of sole elderly characters preaching and all, saas bah relations etc. But it wold not be everyones cup of tea as its slow paced and its not realistic but poetic and is a fantasy.

Not a fan of slow script, didn't like it, i was expecting alot from it after good reviews on other platforms, bit too hyped becoz of start cast. Dialogues were cringing, The characters had different sides even writer is confused Wahaj was great, just like tere bin. You will love him for his act.

Excellent but bit too slow, watched in 2x on youtube...poor storyline though .

Omar's character was just rubbish... weird looking Hira mani, unpredictable confused character.

Thankless people, i only watched becoz of Wahaj Ali.. Done with love triangle and slow dialogues.

Hira Mani fashion was awesome, nice costumes.

Such an old fashioned, slow paced drama, pathetic screenplay, every character speaks so very slow, as if everyone of them is sick. Even the dialogues are pretty okay, doesn't show any 'Khalil ur Rehman prowess'. Khalil sahab has this propensity of showing tragic, more often sudden, deaths in his stories, which is indeed an irksome repetition.

The drama has the vibes of 90's bollywood movies where almost after every dialogue a sound of flute kicks in to intensify the scene unnecessarily. Acting is nice, wardrobe is good, cast looks good but this is what happens when the director and writer aren't up to the mark. Good actors can't run and win this race on their own. Not recommended at all.
