Un hombre abandonado

I love the actors, especially the lead. But loving them does not make up for the sudden plot gaffes, along with images like cats suddenly appearing, whose purposes are never explained. These events and images begin to drift throughout the second half of the film along with additionally unexplained character behaviors that ruined it for me. It was like they were so determined to finish that they gave up on developing. And that broke the mood and enjoyment. I am disappointed because I loved the first half.

I loved it, it was such a great story I wish it was a bit longer. Baran tried his best to move forward with his life, he did his best despite all the challenges he kept facing. I loved his relationship with Lydia (Mert and Ada did such a great job). He opened to her since the beginning and the last lines in the movie warmed my heart. Baran who learned not to cry or show much of his emotion, all the pain was in his eyes and in the few breakdowns he had, you just want to hug him and tell him you're doing great 😭 the whole cast did an amazing job, I truly recommend it.

This film is an incredibly emotional journey that grips you from start to finish. It's a must-watch, filled with moments that stay with you long after the credits roll. The lead actor delivers a truly powerful performance - he is a remarkable man who brings every scene to life. He embodies his role with such authenticity and strength that you feel every emotion alongside him-his joy, his pain, and his hope.

The movie was truly beautiful and full of emotions. It captures the heaviness of the heart in a way that feels very real, while the scenes between Lidya and Baran bring a sense of warmth and tenderness that balances it beautifully.

The performances were excellent, every actor fit their role perfectly and delivered with conviction. Their acting made the story even more engaging.

What held the film back, however, was its length. At only 1 hour 30 minutes, it felt too short to fully develop the story. The direction could have been stronger, and the editing was not entirely convincing. In the attempt to shorten the film, some important scenes were cut, which left parts of the story without the justice they deserved.

The movie was truly amazing.

The lead actor delivered such a powerful performance that I could feel every emotion he went through from his refusal to forgive the past and the injustice from his family, to his frustration, despair, and the confusion of trying to find his way after spending more than half his life in prison.

His fear of taking responsibility for his niece, believing he isn't capable of caring for her, felt so real.

I also loved his bond with his best friend and the workshop owner It added so much warmth. And of course, the scenes between Mert and Ada were absolutely my favorite.

This film is honestly one of the best Turkish movies I've watched, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a story full of raw emotions.
