Battle for Castle Itter

A pleasant B Movie / TV movie suprise

Watched this on a whim, with no expectations, and was pleasantly surprised.

A low budget, low CGI account (some of it was laughable, but it did not matter) of the real, historical Battle of Castle Itter....some wooden acting and no famous faces - but all that did was add to the overall "rag tag band, fighting fanatical, never say die Nazi's" theme.

A great made for TV 90min escape.

There was no side stories, no back stories, just an account of the confusion, the determination and will to survive of good guys, and the fanatical failure of the last day's of the Nazi regime.
