Watched at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.

An interesting and moving portrait about Sudanese individuals who explore their stories through green screen presentations, imagery and discussions regarding the most current war in Sudan. It's heartbreaking to know about how many innocent children and families who are stuck in the war. I can't imagine how awful it must be to relive those terrifying moments and for the filmmakers to use real footage and different wars to explore their stories is quite brave.

Having use of green-screen is a strange way to re-enact the moments for the participants. While certain moments didn't feel very affective and I did wish it was a bit more longer to explore more of their stories, I did really appreciate the filmmakers for getting this story out there. Because people need to be aware of the war in Sudan and the problems happening.

Overall, a good documentary.
