Eight episodes into resurrection and it is clear that the franchise had put that original ending far behind it. Original Sin was an honest to god 9/10. Also ending considered I didn't hate New Blood. The writing, cinematography and acting in this is absolutely incredible. The meshing of storylines as well as the layering of the story. True Detective, Game of Thrones and other franchises that fell off could learn a thing or two from what Dexter has done. (The Walking Dead's last three weren't bad either but that's another story)
First of all that pic of dexter with the mask is hilarious ALSO this episode was a bit nostalgic, hello miami.... Things r heating up and next week is going to be extremely painful especially if its what i think it is but I'll proudly say: RESURRECTION IS TOP 3 DEXTER SEASONS. SEASON 4, SEASON 2, resurrection. As much as i love doakes if the next episode is executed greatly as this episode this will definitely be the 2nd best season IN ALL OF DEXTER and maybe even 1st IF THEY END IT RIGHT (99% chance they will but theres always that 1....)

Episode 8 delivers one of the most suspenseful hours of the season, bringing the "kill room" motif back with a clever twist. The writing balances nostalgia with fresh tension, showing Dexter caught between his dark urges and the consequences of past choices. The pacing is sharp, each scene layered with dread yet driven by strong character interactions. The psychological depth-especially Dexter's internal struggle-feels authentic and gripping, while the direction keeps viewers on edge with atmospheric tension. By the end, the episode leaves a lasting impact, reminding us why Dexter remains such a fascinating antihero.
What a wonderful episode! Just when I thought this season couldn't get any better, they pull off a picture perfect episode, so many good moments.
And then the ending...t he last 5 or 10 seconds, JUST WOW. I don't want to spoil anything, just go watch the episode. I thought the episode was done and I enjoyed it a ton but then they went and added in that last 10 seconds or so that managed to put a huge smile on my face, while at the same time make me anxious as hell all at the same time.
How in the world did they manage to make me so anxious and excited at the same time? And in only 5 or 10 seconds? Wonderful writing, great acting and superb Directing.
I never thought we would get a season on par with the first 3 seasons but this season has been perfect, pure bliss. One of the best shows ever is BACK & not just back but back with vengeance.
Top notch season and killer episode, hats off to everyone involved for doing the impossible this season!

This episode has so much possible plots that did not happen and we all thought some things were confirmed and they made it to be completely different from the expected to happen, this show is for sure going on the way to be one of the Dexter seasons, Harrison development is also something that's being very good to watch, completely amazing.
