Although nothing novel or groundbreaking, the movie for most parts engages and entertains.

First half is hilarious, with constant humor, subtle yet effective emotions, and pre-interval twist hits the nail, ends well. Second half should have been handled better, especially the emotions, felt undercooked and generic at places, but nothing feels out of place.

Pradeep once again hits it out of park with his infectious and unique screen presence, making a mark for himself in rom com entertainers. Mamitha looks cute and gives a good performance, Sarath Kumar role comes with a twist, and the veteran actor pulls off with ease. Rest all fine.

Technically, movie looks cool, thanks to cinematography by Niketh Bommi, editing by Barath is okay. Man of discussion, Sai Abhyankkar, music although not so impressive, does well with his score, utilises the BOOM song well.

Coming to writer director Keerthiswaran, he comes up with a good and relatable subject, scores in terms of direction, but writing needs some tinkering.

Good comedy But For true Love it's not The movie succeeds as a light-hearted comedy, but when it comes to portraying true love, it misses the mark. From the opening scenes, it's clear that humor is the film's strongest suit. The witty dialogue, situational gags, and playful chemistry between the characters make it entertaining to watch. You find yourself laughing easily, enjoying the rhythm of the jokes, and appreciating how the film never takes itself too seriously. It's the kind of comedy that can lift your mood after a long day.

However, beneath all the laughter, the emotional core feels hollow. The supposed "love story" never truly convinces the audience that the two leads share a deep or meaningful bond. Their relationship develops too quickly, relying on cliché moments rather than genuine emotional growth. The film mistakes attraction and banter for real affection, leaving the love angle feeling forced and superficial. While comedy can enhance romance, here it overshadows it entirely.

A good romantic comedy should balance humor and heart, making us laugh while also touching something deeper. This movie only manages the first half. It entertains, yes, but it doesn't move you. When the credits roll, you remember the jokes-but not the love story. For viewers seeking a quick laugh, it's a fun ride. But for those looking for sincerity, connection, and emotional truth, it's not worth it. True love deserves more than punchlines; it deserves honesty and depth. And that's where this comedy, despite its charm, ultimately falls short.

DUDE starts off really well, even the 1st half is very nice with Pradeep anna's entry, to catchy songs like Oorum Blood and Singari, to comedy which fits the movie and PR just right. A massy interval block gets the audience thinking that the film will just get better. However the 2nd half shows a completely different story, with just a single twist which I feel is unnecessary. I didnt like the 2nd half except for the very little comedy and the emotional scenes. DUDE had so much potential, but for a debut director, I feel like he deserves a round of applause, Keerthi anna, if he used Mamitha, and Sarathkumarsir properly then the movie would be a blockbuster.

I recently watched this movie, and I found its message deeply concerning. The film attempts to draw a comparison between human relationships and animal behavior-portraying dogs as free to mate with anyone, while suggesting that humans are unnecessarily bound by marriage or social norms.

Instead of addressing issues like caste and social discrimination in a meaningful or thought-provoking way, the movie ends up promoting a distorted idea of freedom - one that encourages indiscipline and disregards moral boundaries.

Many films have tackled casteism and social barriers with sensitivity and depth, inspiring positive change. However, this movie fails miserably in that regard. It conveys an unhealthy message that can negatively influence young minds and weaken the values that hold our society together.

It's important for audiences to stand against such culture-damaging narratives and instead support films that promote unity, respect, and thoughtful reform without crossing ethical lines.

The movie feels completely split in two.

The first half is fantastic, fun, tight, and totally engaging.

But the second half falls apart. The director starts throwing in random, illogical scenes, the characters lose all the development they had, and the relationships are portrayed in a very wrong way.
