The finale of the 8th season is superb, as it has been in the past. Not only does it deliver a story as multi-layered and meaningful as the previous excellence, such as Ep10S7, but it also presents the complex and well-developed relationships among Rick, Memory Rick, Beth, and Diane so well in a way that makes me want to extend this episode into a 2-hour movie.
With all due respect, after a season of mediocracy, at least the very majority of the first 9 episodes, the great work of the season finale makes me so excited to see R&M is getting back on top. Great episode!

Just when you think Rick and Morty has lost its spark, it comes back with something like this. A season that felt like it was drifting suddenly drops an emotional bomb that reminds you why this show ever mattered in the first place.
No jokes to quote. No crazy twists to obsess over. Just a moment of raw, human vulnerability buried under layers of sci-fi madness - and it works. Against all odds, it works.
This episode hit me right in the gut. It's that rare kind of storytelling that doesn't need to shout to be powerful. It just sits with you. Quiet. Honest. Beautiful. And yeah, it hurts - in the best way.
This is Rick and Morty at its finest: absurd, clever, but above all, human.

This was the best episode in this season and one of the best in the whole series. When I watched this season I missed the old Rick and Morty in every episode, after seeing this episode I feel like I got the old real Rick and Morty, this episode was great, hope they make more episodes like this need back the real Rick and Morty.
I wrote a review a couple of seasons ago stating that this show is declining; I literally said, "Save Rick and Morty!"
The show has started to decline, and now it is simply "not as great" as it was, which we knew from the first few seasons.
I think now everyone agrees that this season was the worst of all (the ratings prove this).
But this season finale, just like the last season finale (season 7) was one of the greatest episodes of R&M so far.
My point is, they still can do it, if only they put as much effort as these great episodes!
The episode was fantastic, the ideas were new, and it was emotionally engaging as well. I say no more, it was just perfect TV!

Perfectly captures rick's growth and character arc in the series so far and shows how much hes truly changed since season 1.
It was incredible, like it perfectly captures ricks growth and character arc throughout the entire series so far and shows how much hes genuinely changed since season 1, but also how he hasnt completely transformed you know? Like you can see hes way more self aware now and actually cares about his family even tho he still struggles with the same core issues that make him rick.
