Like familiar ground, A Netflix Latin American series with a strong begining but then fading out towards the end. Disappointed with the final plot which is supposedly the main reason for the show. The sexual tension was a bit disappointing too given the caption and trailers. Hopefully there is no season 2 and they can save us the stress of having to watch another 20 episodes. As a massive fan of Spanish speaking contents, Netflix please do better?

The characters and every action of them are exaggerated. Many of the scenes are unrealistic and hard to be believed. Sonia is always crying... I just liked the tension from the first episodes but then everything became far-fetched and too long for 20 episodes. The plot is simple but the revenge is twisted.

La Huésped clearly aimed for psychological tension, but what it delivers instead is a masterclass in poor decision-making. The writing seems determined to strip every character of logic, as if intelligence were optional in this universe. It's hard to feel suspense when the plot relies on people acting like they've never encountered a coherent thought in their lives. By the halfway point, you're no longer asking what will happen next; you're asking how much dumber can it get?

Unnecessarily long but most of all, suffers from a plot that gets flat out absurd at some points. The amount of twists and turns that you have to endure seem more in the service of dragging the story out than making it interesting. A simpler, more direct story line would have made things better. The motivations for the character's actions are extremely far-fetched and difficult to imagine, even if you take the short-cut of "she's simply crazy". It's a shame because the acting is pretty good, but without a good story, we're all simply wasting our time.

Nothing makes sense and I guess the writers tried to prove everyone is stupid; the characters and the audience. I was barely able to finish episode 1. Sometimes I enjoy watching just movies or series to pass time that have no values but this one is impossible! Save your time and don't watch it. If you are curious just Google the story and ending and you will see a typical ending for a lifetime movie.

I didn't understand what the writers were thinking about when they developed this plot.

They're literally laughing at audience, this is just so cringe and exaggerated. Too much drama. I couldn't even watch the end because it was boring and hard to see.

I hope you develop better narrative in the future.

On surface the series has everything thriller needs. You have a couple with past troubles. And both are hiding things. Their teenage child doing stupid teenage stuff. Mysterious person with some hidden connection to the couple showing up and plotting. Sexual tensions. But it somehow fails to turn all of that into something good, or even half decent. First warning sign is the fact that it is 20 episodes long. I know streaming services allow for longer media and what would otherwise be 1 1/2-2 hours movie can now be made into series and explore more, but such shows generally hover around 8, 10 eps max.

So rather than giving us a background it drags plots and scenes on. To make up for it show tries to make everybody so dramatic and overact, end result being boring plot, camera than just lingers on things, long pauses....

I expected more from this movie. At first, the story seemed interesting, but as it went on, the plot became irritating. How can a lawyer be so careless as to discuss private matters in front of a complete stranger without any background checks or caution? Silvia's character was written so poorly that her actions came across as unbelievably dumb, which was very frustrating to watch. Overall, the story line was disappointing. Next time, please make it worthwhile-especially since we pay subscriptions and expect engaging, well-written movies.

The message is clear in this TV series there is a woman who is with a husband who always cheats on her but for her everything is fine and everything is fine plus her husband likes to have sadomasochistic sex while she doesn't but for her everything is always fine that is, this woman keeps her husband who cheats on her and who likes to do sexual things that she doesn't want to do because I was saying the message is clear in that place where this series was written women must keep quiet and do everything that men say, because this is the message she gives us throughout the TV series and also at the end, the writer tried to put a patch here and there but it was useless even the husband gets angry when he discovers that his wife cheated on him once and so at that point she forgives him, after all he only cheated on his wife 200 times, it's clear that they remained there in the 80s! They didn't realize that the world has changed and is changing!, But it's a joke right? But who wrote this screenplay, ok there are good screenwriters and others less good but the person who wrote this story was a mechanic or a fisherman any job other than a screenwriter because this is truly rubbish, it is a concentration of senseless idiocies that happen one after the other this product cannot exist how can Netflix validate the staging of this rubbish in technical terms.

This work is totally pathetic and I personally have never seen in a more disgusting work regarding the writing and the subject, this work is the result of two completely absent and completely empty minds that have created 20 episodes without thinking, and the result is a basket full of waste which are all the lines of dialogue present in the series, and all the acting of the performers,

I've read so many reviews that destroyed this TV series, so what else could I say that's negative, the acting is almost like a school play, the dialogues are ridiculous, the script wasn't even written for me, probably there was just the story and the actors improvised throughout the TV series, anyway what could be worse than all this? There's worse and it's the fact that up until the 7th or 8th episode I don't remember now the series is still poor and horrible but despite everything you can watch it because all these problems I've listed are still marginal and not too excessive but after the end of the 7th or 8th episode where the husband does something of a certain importance the series completely falls apart all the banalities in the dialogues, in the situations, and in the writing of the characters, and in the cliches are amplified, making everything paradoxical and incredibly low level to say the least, what I would like to understand is whether this choice was due to a lack of quality on the part of the screenwriters or was it made on purpose to try to keep afloat a series with no future and no possibility of achieving a minimum of success! Then there is the whole part of the patriarchy is alive power to men, man master woman slave of her husband forced to endure her husband's betrayals and sexual tastes in silence,

This film is so unbelievably bad that it shouldn't even have an audience. Nothing works-not the story, not the acting, not the editing. The plot makes no sense, the characters feel empty, and every scene is more confusing than the last. It's the kind of movie that wastes your time and your patience. Honestly, the best advice is simple: don't watch it. Even skipping it is a smarter choice than giving it a chance.

Series explore the human flaws in all their glory, people hiding secrets that come later to destroy lives. Of course plot is not perfect and there are some exagerated beahaviors and decisions, but overall a good movie.

There are no good or bad in this movie, just people dealing with their shadows, trying to become who they really are.
