We don't meet potential partners as we used to do. An Insightful look into the challenges around dating, insecurity, dating apps, and all that follows. Not so much about technology disadvantages, as to see what's not working (anymore). What have changed? Why are we afraid of commitment? Why do we ghost people? From an gen-x perspective, I thought this would be a bit uninteresting, but the series explains the different dating climate in today's society compared to (for me) when we didn't have dating apps. I especially enjoyed the Elders council on the singles festival - I wish I had one! But what is the most impressive, is the cast of every day people who are willing to open up, expose their emotional thoughts and are willing to get challenged to gain self understanding, and by that - also educate the viewer's. This is not TikTok emotional confessions, this is more a process we follow and we see the individuals experience and grow. I don't know them, but many live in my neighborhood in central Oslo. And as a big-city-single for 30+ years and of another generation, I surprisingly connect with the topic, and self reflect over the issues the series discuss in a very well balanced way - which is really an achievement! Love IS hard!
