Four students want to prove that ghosts and hauntings are real so they head out to a mysterious house. Once inside the house they meet a strange doctor who is waiting for the second coming of Elvis and soon the students are being chased around by a maniac and there appears to be no escape.

This here is a somewhat sequel to Richard Casey's HORROR HOUSE ON HIGHWAY FIVE but I personally think it's more in-name than anything else. I wasn't a fan of that slasher movie but at the same time it was so bad that there was just something oddly attractive about it. This film, however, is just plain bad and I must admit that I found it extremely hard to get through.

On a technical level, I guess I'd say that this here looks better than the first film but that's about the only positive thing I'm going to say. Well, I guess you could give the film credit for trying to be something more than just your typical direct-to-video release but at the same time I found the film to be a failure on a number of levels but the biggest was the fact that it was simply boring to the point where you wanted to skip through the entire thing.

I can put up with bad performances or poor effects but when you're watching a film that you can't connect with and that you find to be deadly dull then there's not much entertainment that you're going to get as the viewer. With this sequel I was at least hoping to get some of the craziness of the original film. The story here is nuts and far-fetched but there's just nothing here that holds your attention.
