The main character is an entitled little gentleman who acts like an a -hole towards his girlfriend, cheats on her, sleeps with a married woman, kisses and gropes her unconsensually when she verbally repeats 'no' (everything's romanticized so it's great). Acts like an a - hole towards his mother. And then we get a sweet moment of reflection from him, but not about his behavior - about how he found himself. Sometimes it's better to stop looking.
I get it, it's a slice of life movie, with a slower pace. But this vast river of nothingness is too much.
I'm being serious - these two hours felt like 10.

The movie is a nice anti-stress for when you just need a good, albeit predictable romance. It can be bland at times, but this movie is exactly what its name suggests. It's a safe haven where not much happens, and you get to relax and just flow along.
The only thing that felt too weird was the characters saying 'I love you' after 1 date. Maybe the movie suggests that more time has passed, but the male lead chooses to believe a woman he basically just met and lets her be around his kids, although she's been accused of murder. Well..ahem...the power of *love* I guess.
The movie definitely has its atmospheric moments, it lets you sit with nature and does not rush into the next dialogue or next scene. Like a life in a small town, it's paced and unrushed. Giving you a chance to take a breather and appreciate the beauty of Southern nature and life.

I had to pause this movie in the middle to give it a 1 star rating. Look. I'm a sucker for light romance, but this is next-level cringy.
It tries SO HARD to be relatable that it becomes unbearable. We'll just skip the fact that they romanticize a literal CEO taking a junior assistant on a date. But their non-existent chemistry and dialogue written by a glitching AI is what gets me.
The premise was okay: the heroine spills her secrets to a stranger only to discover he's a founder of her company. Now they have sort of a secret connection beyond simple work politeness.
But the execution is just insulting to the viewer. I could tell the actors tried to salvage this to the best of their ability. But when direction is flaming trash, there's not much you can do.
