The first season of Wednesday was fresh and fun. Ortega is great as Wednesday and the rest of the cast was for the most part spot on.
Then came Season Two and the magic is definitely missing. Episode Three was a completely unnecessary distraction to what was already a slow moving season. The camping trip was....well what was the point? Others have aptly described it as filler. I won't even make it to episode 4 and the rest of the season? Meh, best of luck. A real shame, it was a fun show for one season.

This episode has all of the elements that make Lucifer so much fun, some naughty humor, the slow moving reveal of the background of the celestials, the fun interaction between Lucifer and Chloe and a new side of Lucifer as he struggles to fight against his own nature. Great episode...
Except that a new character has been introduced, someone named Vinessa Vidotto playing the part of Remiel. What a wet blanket, she acts like someone in a high school play. I have no idea why they cast her, she is just terrible. Maybe she is related to someone in the production team or something? There had to be hundreds of better options and I hope she isn't on the show for long.

The drop off from the 1st season of Reacher to the 2nd was pretty significant but I had hopes the 3rd season would pull out of the tailspin. Alas, it apparently is not to be.
Alan Ritchson is so stiff and wooden, you could build an 18th century sailing ship out of him. The holes in the plot are enormous. I have read most of the books so I understand the need to suspend disbelief but come on.
The timing is all out of whack. He runs from the front of an estate, through the house, across the back of the estate, over a fence and down a rocky shoreline, then runs back all in a couple of minutes and is not out of breath? Have they ever seen a live person run?
The only thing to look forward to is the showdown between Reacher and Olivier Richters. Given what a putz Alan Ritchson is in real life I am kinda rooting for Richters.
