It helps me to have grace towards this episode when I look at what was happening behind the scenes. The show was gearing up for its final season, but then comes the double whammy: COVID-19 and the George Floyd murder. The producers of B99 realized that they had to make some big changes, and make them quickly. They needed to address what was happening in the world. To not do so would have come across badly. I suspect that the short notice to make the changes resulted in the valid weaknesses pointed out in other reviews. So while this episode is not at the high quality that we are accustomed to, I applaud their efforts and suggest that this is the best they could do in challenging situations.

The only reason I watched the entire movie was because I wanted to know how bad it could get. The story started out as mildly interesting but soon descended into absurdity. The writing is amateurish at best. I will give credit to the actors for trying to make the best of a horrible movie. I appreciate their commitment. Not even the greatest actors in history could make this movie into anything good. For many actors, you take what work you can get, but it's hard to make movie magic when the characters are written to be void of any sort of depth or are so contradictory. If you want a perfect case study of lame plot development, this is one to watch.
