Following a sharp decline in quality of the season as it reached its final chapter, it became very evident the direction that this competition was going with its clear "winner". The lack of surprise felt from audiences is due to production's choices in this empty feeling finale. With choppy lip sync editing, ditching the standard finale runway that stands as a celebration of the season and very little effort put in into concluding each of the finalists' storylines; it was almost as if the producers of the show just wanted to rush to the crowning instead of putting time and effort into the other aspects of the show that make it enjoyable and give it it's unique spark.

Throughout the whole episode, it was very, very clear who they wanted to favour by exclusively shining them in a positive light through sound use and the overall edit to the point where it just felt too dismissive of any other queens. Listen, I understand that it is reality tv and it would be ridiculous to say I wanted to see an exact fair edit. However, when the favouritism is pushed so heavily to the point it becomes ridiculously obvious as well as counterproductive to the message of the show that "all forms of art are respected", it isn't enjoyable to watch. I hope that the show doesn't continue like this as it had amazing potential from the first 6 episodes.
