Exceeding all my expectations, "Weapons" is an incredibly powerful film where Zach Cregger masterfully blends tension and dark humor to a new level of sharpness.

The mystery of a mass disappearance and its impact on a small town unfolds in a mesmerizing, layered way, giving each character a chance to shine. The story is divided into several nerve-wracking chapters, ending with a gripping finale.

Special credit goes to Josh Brolin and Alden Ehrenreich, though the entire cast delivers strong, harmonious performances that brilliantly maintain the balance Cregger has created.

My expectations for the Russo brothers have plummeted drastically in the five years since Avengers: Endgame. Even bringing together MCU alumni like Chris Pratt wasn't enough to save this film.

Instead of feeling like a complete movie, it felt more like watching an excessively long streaming content. The story failed to evoke any emotion, leaving me feeling absolutely nothing after the credits rolled.

How can Hollywood spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a "soulless" story like this?

This film serves as a strong cautionary tale about the dangers of jumping to conclusions, spreading gossip, and making assumptions in a close-knit community where anger and blame can spiral into unfair vengeance.

The story utterly captivating, it begins on a light note but takes a dramatic turn when a teacher faces an accusation, flipping his world upside down as he becomes the target of a community that has already judged him guilty. The story is intense and gripping, with outstanding performances, highlighting the peril of condemning someone without knowing the full truth and how unchecked anger can lead to severe injustice. The story, and also Mads Mikkelsend's acting deserves high praise.
