• Jumpscares are effective,
• I do not like the story
• First hour is boring

Chapters 1&2 of Insidious are my favorite for this entire franchise. Ch 5 is OK, i just don't like the story, it is LACKING in this aspect. After watching, you will feel like why did they make another part when we already know what we have seen in the previous chapters. It is like an extended version of the chapters 1&2 that does not require a chapter 5. They could've done so much better!!! But thankfully, i love the jumpscares especially during the middle of the film. The ending feels so rushed. If you will plan to watch it, then watch it, it is still enjoyable but don't expect too much especially on its "story aspect" of the film.

I find this episode simply beautiful. I really have a feeling that the next episode will be chaotic and fun and I hate the fact that we are going to wait for another week just to see it. You may think that the story in the 4th episode is going slow but I really do not care at all because I just find this episode wholeheartedly fun and at the same time traumatizing, what a great cliffhanger. Once you see the trio together, it's very very attractive. The music is just WOW. The timing of the music is really really on point!

One thing I love about this series is the characters. When the trio are always together, they create chemistry. I have to commend Selena's brilliant performance here. I thought that choosing Selena Gomez as a co-lead actress with the comedy legends, will not work very well. However, I underestimated this woman and turns out she's doing what I want her to do. Never expected to love this show at first, but I'm saying it right now - watching this show is a must. It is definitely one of the best shows released by HULU and one of the best TV shows of this year!
