Actually I believe the synopsis is not correct. This is the pilot that would go on to be Episode 2, from Season 1, "And Mother Makes 4".
It is the pilot where Chrissy's mom comes to visit. (At this point Susan Lanier was Chirssy). This was already the third "blonde" and the show wouldn't go on air until 1977 for 6 episodes.
Suzanne Zenor played Samantha in the original unaired pilot. She was an aspiring actress rather than a secratary. That character would become Chrissy rather than Samantha. Suzanne Lanier had replaced Denise Galik who was let go two days before the pilot taped.
Suzanne Somers was the only regular cast member not in this pilot but in the original episode "A Man About The House". We wouldn't see Larry until Episode 4, "No Children, No Dogs". Larry was just "Honest Larry" at that point.
If you are a Three's Company fan, I believe this would be worth your time. If not a big fan, this episode is essentially the same as the 2nd episode of Season 1.
