I usually don't like Michael Bay movies. Had I known he directed I might not have watched it. Intense action, and a few surprises in the plot and action that I didn't see coming. I've Loved Jake Gyllenhaal since Bubble Boy. And I've Loved Garret Dillahunt since Deadwood. Some funny lines and moments between characters. Highly recommend even for people not that into action movies because we find them predictable.

Some good and quirky acting and some bad. Never read the book or saw the original movie so I had no idea about "whodunit". I wouldn't call it a mystery as it was too easy to figure out very early on who was in on the murder. If the aim was comedy, they nailed it.

It's rare I'll stop a movie and not finish watching it. But 16 minutes into this movie between the acting the actors the non-resistance of a storyline I stopped it. Don't waste your time.
