Interesting concept on an old story that strayed out interesting and collapsed under the weight of its good intentions. And the road to hell is paved with good intentions and this film on repeat. Ice Cube tried hard but just couldn't deliver. Whoever thought he could deliver those lines needs to find a new job. Everyone else was equally lacking. The dialogue was downright awful at times. I get that this was a COVID protocols production but that is no excuse for this mess. An A for effort and A for awful.

Wow. Just wow. I am so glad I did not pay to see this in the theatres. I really enjoyed the first one. The second was okay. But this is shockingly bad except for the fight at the end. Wasn't anyone paying attention while they were shooting? Or have the read the script in advance? Considering all of the talent in this movie it should have been much better. SONY does not know how to many films like this. Please stop trying Amy Pascal. Leave these characters and movies to Marvel. Hopefully Marvel finds a way to bring Eddie Brock and Venom back for the Spider-Man movies but with a good script and a good director.

If this is a preview of things to come this season will be a tough sell for me. No one is thinking about their lines and just spouting them out. Agreed they are badly written but be a pro and make them work. Susan Duffy is the worst. Struggles with her New England accent and doesn't even think about what she is saying. When she is on the screen I cringe. Even Alan Ritchson is wooden without some good actors to work off of. He's just walking though this one. I was excited about this new season finally happening but that is gone. I will watch it just because it's Reacher and there's nothing else to watch.
