  • Some like story with their sexy

Headlining this appreciative Brritish T and A exploitation piece, with "Walking Down The Street" our stud Casanova, bearing presents for each of his ladies, not always the ones he intended the presents for, including a non lady, what is the whole point of this movie? Intriguing it is, through the sexual imaginations of our Peter, one meeting, which for me, turns predictably nasty, this is just an eye candy feature, one moment, bordering on an X rating moment. Not saying this isn't impressive, but I was expecting story. The regular meat cutting clips conveyed to me, the women for Peter were just pieces of meat. But who knows what is going on through Peter' s head. The ending, one of painful disillusion. Just really good expolitation, with slight humour, some real tenderness and presnts Nothing more.

  • Again very Ferrara

I don't know what we're really 'spose to make of this film. Pasolin's life, routines are really interesting, and this is part so well covered, but I thought this would be like a biography, life story, not focusing on this area in the days, leading up to his unfortunate murder. Did appreciate excerpts of Salo movie at start, and Dafoe's performance is engaging, but having him speak American and not Italian english of just Italian is weird. There is a slight miscasting about Willem's performance, but again he delivers. Sadly the movie's end, stopped short, and was expecting a longer viewing. Bummer. Highly recommended, but not the story you expect to see and in my case as well, wanna see.

  • Fair cartel

Not a bad B grade actioner, nothing spectacular sees cool looking stud charter pilot (O'Keefe) caught and oblivious to carrying cocaine, sent to prison. Inside, pretty boy really surprises us as someone not to be messed with, with him, and cellmate Stroud, a performer really giving his all as bad dude, Tony King, butt heads. Angry, crazy Stroud, part of the cartel, wants his cocaine back. Snubbing an offer of Stroud's , O'Keefe's hot sister is raped and killed, so we pretty much know what follows. This movie, definitely one with flaws makes for 100 minutes of B actioner entertainment. Stroud shines out, and Carson is really solid as O' Keefe's girlfriend, while Slater is great as eye candy. O'Keefe doesn't do much with his role, more inheld, but still comes across strong like John Ethan Wayne did in Manhunt. Some of the bad guys, well most of them are terrible and laughable. Opening song is a highlight of this unexceptional film. One of the flaws has two guards standing in the centre of the prison yard, then in a CU shot, they're standing by a yard wall. Couldn't resist.

  • More Troma crap

This is no real turn on here, but I must say it's entertaining. Much more funny, some parts really had me really in stitch, this a relief, as I've watched many Troma films. I really do like the corny style of humor, Troma brings, and there are some likenesses here with Waitress, and Stuck On You, especially the latter, this and that one, very resembling the same kind of film work, themes. Again we have a lot of nice and thankful T and A, as a score of horny camp leaders, and a sexually repressed female counselor recall the first time they popped their cherry, while stuck in a cave, after a tornado, thunderstorm, whatever, in some quite hilariously entertaining and inventive flashbacks. The old owner of the school camp is a hoot too. Mindless entertainment, but entertaining entertainment as to it's humor.

  • You might be wearing disappointment

This good hearted, mean well film, really didn't do anything for me, even knowing what it's true intentions were. After Educating Rita, talented Walters deserves much more better material, despite turning this great actress turning in again a solid take note performance. Walters is a very interesting actress to watch, especially when at dramatic levels, those moments. Here again like Rita, she's opinionated, outspoken, who's part of this small all women, one transgender, who've enlisted in this thrill seeking, finding themselves, all sports challenge program. Even mother/daughter among this party. Sadly to make it harder, it's co run by this young British hunk, in a very natural, likeable performance. We hear the trials and tribulations of their lives, what they want to achieve, witness their uproarious and sad moments. This is still worth a watch, and the transgender woman performance is a standout. Just don't expect it too much. Take it with a grain of salt. Besides the title, another great attribute is the never give up moral. And some open ahower nudity. Original film though.

  • Some kind of wonderful

I love drama comedies, and Pryor kind of reminds us how dramatically good he can be. As a vet who's captured, when nature is really calling his friend, while in warfare and has to go off for a whiz, he becomes a POW, and kept in this sh**ty hut. There he soon has company in the form of a raging, opinionated vet by a great Ray Sharkey. After finally ceding to sign that confession, which will release him, he comes back like many other vets, a laughing stock. We have another Rolling Thunder situation, where it's all bad, a sidesplitting scene, ending when his ex wife, suggesting a divorce. He meets a high class prostitute, a wonderful Kidder and a relationship develops. The last straw comes when his compensation is cut off, and he has resort to illegal acts as an alternative. This is a good Pryor vehicle, a really nice even measure of comedy and drama. A good find, with solid performances, and Pryor impresses here.

  • Golden entertainment

Exciting adventure through a unique theme of story of a most desirable but deadly statue. To gawk at it's enticing golden beauty, transfixing. It's needles, ones which can take pain away, than return it, in it's ultimate torturous form, followed by death. Finding she's been swindled, as the corrupt sellers want another 250 thousand, hot Ashley enlists help, which comes in the shape of big burly leading man, Don Baker, and he's great to watch here. Only one who can break in and steal the statue. Of course a love affair blooms between the two, and sometimes we wonder if Ashley has corrupt intentions. She's a mystery. Chao as Don Baker's childhood friend is solid as always. Some strong impactful violence doesn't hurt either, and Ann Southern, is an unforgettable hoot as a club owner, acting much the same way she did in the standalone, serial killer pic The Killing Kind. The film is just so all exciting, due to it's different kind of story, and a film I recommend you see.

  • Something is rotten in East LA

Oh Cheech does try hard. But laughs go amiss in a south easterly direction. It does have a decent story, with mistaken immigrant Cheech not having id, being hauled with all the other unfortunates to Mexico, where he meets sleazy con man Stern, really good, and looking the part. Cheech falls in love with a beautiful Amazonian woman too. The film has heart, and is a different Marin vehicle.

Marin carries it in four departments, but nothings funny, if for a couple of things which has us laughing inside, and we'll never forget sexy woman in green. The movie does hit home some real important notes, and it's unexpected very last scene, had me cheering while also loving Cheech's written song take on a Springsteen hit, you can pretty much work out, with much help from title. What really annoyed me was Tony Plana like you've never seen Tony Plaza, as a crazy money collecting protector thug, while Jan Michael Vincent makes a small appearance as a border control boss. And the long lost, but short of a dollar cousin, Rodriguez, turns in a cute performance, taunted by a ringing phone hidden behind a painting of William Dafoe on a cross, Last Temptation Of Christ Style, with one blinking eye. If only you removed the painting Paul. Stupid humor. A weak feeble comedy, without the comedy, but with some good attributes. This one, better left back behind the border. Sorry.

The old gang is back, and most of all, the bandit, again propositioned for a financially rewarding haul and that includes a pregnant elephant. Not enough chase, thrills, spills, but still very entertaining, steered well by Reynolds, transitioning from Cannonball Run. Glad Reed is back too. First 10 minutes is a hoot, with drunkard Burt, but I feel the story loses it's way, or is weakly. Needed much meat and happening. The crashes and pile ups are a highlight, and this is good kill 90 minute entertainment. That's all.

  • Not enough slap, hitting, cuffing, walloping, beating, etc

Yes, time to bring this one to modern day. There are hits and misses with this film. The three actors are excellent, but I was expecting much more stooge action, but when there was, it took me back to the old show. One slap hit sequence had me quite in stitches. Sofia Vergara, playing a baddie has never been hotter, and trust me, you'll miss who Larry (Seinfeld) David is playing, and Kate Upton as a very sexy nun, provided some eye candy. The film has a good story, but sadly it delivered quite below my expectations. The Farrelly brothers haven't made a funnier film since Dumb And Dumber, and this one they really tried, but ultimately in a way failed, or discreetly failed in a larger sense. Again, I must give praise to the 3 stooge actors who really brought it, totally inhabiting the former ones we grew up with and loved.

  • Love triangle

I love these better title of adult films, especially ones with style like this one. A 68 minute erotic eye candy drama/comedy. I'll simply run it down. A paralyzed father of this country mansion is about to marry this very hot younger woman, the returning son of the father, falling head over heels and becoming obsessed with her, and vice versa. The male butler, so jealous, has his own malicious intentions, and he's fun to watch. A lot of eroticism, nude painting, this one won't disappoint and has class and her, the panty scene, sharp in my mind, with a classic finale, you have to see. Great instrumental, but story wise, not enough to constitute higher score. But please watch adult lovers. Mark it on your list.

  • Sweet sadness

Sweetie is an offbeat movie with wonderful performances, ones where we got lost in the characters, none more than the brilliant Lemon, as the title nickname. Talented but crazy, where inside, she's a mentally tortured soul, where it has taken a burden on her family, her sister who has cut loose of her, but she too is weird. Just ask her workmates. She stole a workmates fiancée, who also works at this nurses clinic, as she knew they were meant for each other, yet a year+ later, they are sleeping in different rooms. Crazy Lemon, crashes their peaceful residence, bringing her drugged up would be agent boyfriend with her. Sweetie stands alone as a true original, about a not too ordinary family. It has some dark humor and has moments which pull at your heartstrings. As we've seen before either in film or reality, a mentally ill party can be a burden to carry, and we will never be able understand that person. Sweetie is a prime if cliche'd example of that. But they are special beings. Highly worth it's watch.

  • Thirst for explanation

Definitely original and really out there in Weirdoramaland, sees beautiful guinea pig (Contouri) abducted by this blood drinking cult, and kept prisoner out in this country facility of brainwashed young folk, who walk around like zombies, and make a great freak show for depraved tourists. I didn't realize just how beautiful Chantal really is, and she carries this film really well with a strong believable performance. And god knows what Silva was doing in this is as one of the nasty scientists, but playing bad is something he's really good at. The movie really screws with you and there are those moments, that are so ridiculous, you really don't bother caring. Those long dream sequences. Are they real? It gets so crazy, and the blood milk, I mean, and the bloody shower Chantal has. I have to be honest, I didn't think the film would be like this. It's bizarre, and definitely unique, but trying to understand it is so hard.

  • Anything but professional

Yes the lovely curvaceous Stetz is a sizzling delight to watch, but there are a lot of things wrong with this film. It's muddled, and there are hardly any surprises. Is Stetz the one, dancing for the poor soon to be dead schmuck's entertainment, and walking away with suitcases of a real hefty sum of money, which belongs to Hollywood drug dealer, Z'dar, strong as always. He enlists sexy PI, Silver, a once admired detective, who must of really made it, when he was young, not looking a day over 27, to find the cases. Guess what happens next? It's pretty obvious and hot madam/part time agent Stetz, is some real nice eye candy in buff close up. The movie goes on it's own path, to many other sex thrillers, and even shows a style. Silver makes for a cool young lead. With that that said, it's still worth the watch. Just don't expect any real surprises. Some unintentional funny dialogue too from Stetz, and her business with helping her girls acquire some walk on Hollywood parts, while also prostituting themselves to fat oafs was an interesting profession.

  • Lookout for Blackout

Though this t.v movie which is not, was shown on the cinema circuit, it definitely makes for engaging viewing with a great premise. Cold steel eyed Carradine, could be the killer, who did away with his family, who were murdered quite brutally, I might add, then put out as a set piece, where obsessed detective (Widmark) is on a personal vendetta to take the monster down. Carradine, who survives a car explosion, face now like a mummy- think Griffin Dunne in An American Werewolf In An London. He is nursed to health by Quinlan, great as usual, and you should see how quick his face is mended, those good manly looks restored. As a thriller, Blackout is interesting and our four mains do us solid, especially Widmark, but I feel in the thriller arena, the movie doesn't have many ways to go and the killer reveal in the deadly masked, is unsurprising, and I know his whole game throughout the movie. But I do recommend this film completely, regardless. Good drama.

  • Tie yourself to this one

Obviously by the teensy number of reviews, I feel this movie needs immediate attention, and we have a commanding lead, Davis, perfect in the role of an American, forced to take out his mobster Uncle, or else. Davis's pop (Dean Jaegar) is held as collateral. Bianco is strong as always, as the marked one, where Davis has his own plan to overthrow the blackmailing mafia goons. I was quite surprised just how good this film was. It's very well made. Spano is fun to watch, as a young hothead, rival gangster, and at times, becomes a bit too much. Highly recommend this.

  • Doggie do do

Obviously, this is what inspired Encino Man, then in turn inspired Blast From The Past, these two latter I haven't seen. Most of the jokes keep missing and Mandel's outlandish antics, and childish behavior is just stupid to watch. The film does have heart, and Amy Steele turns in a really good performance, where Lloyd is at his brilliant nastiness, as Mandel's heartless scheming brother. But most of the jokes just weren't there, and I do see where it could of been funnier. Mandel too in adopting and learning human habits, and how he responds, didn't make sense either in parts. Wretched film wastes a whole good cast, and that's sad, but trying to take this for laughs, is also sad.

  • Fear spin

Don't you hate it when good actors are cast in bad films. Noted, this is how I felt at the start, as in regards to my bad remark. This film really gets better. It's fun watching Sly's brother, who I consider a better actor, walk the jail cell room, delivering verbal insults to all his prison colleagues. I FOUND IT HILARIOUS. Even Eddie Mr Blue Bunker is amongst these animals, and tries to get fresh with a cherry baby faced prisoner. Then take a family foursome, who are not the happiest a the moment, with wifie Lenz, who has a great job offering in another city, take off in their RV and cross deadly paths with a bunch of these same brutal convicts, who have escaped a crashing bus, while being transported to Penitentiaryville. Now put a classic spin on this story, with one of these escaping prisoners, being a Vietnam vet, who still thinks he's in Vietnam. This shock angle really gives the film some real claustrophobic tense moments. Hubby DeYoung, also has war fighting and survival skills. Very entertaining B grader with a very cute daughter too, and likeable son, in a not without flaws action thriller. Stallone's time in this film though, is very engaging in watching a very underrated performer wonderful perform his brawn.

Totally open mouthed to the bad reviews on this one. For starters we have a kickarse lead and a really good backstory. This is a smarter werewolf movie. Heightened by great night visuals and the wolves themselves are awesome to look at. We have great characters to vouch for, and Lou Diamond''s small scenes are another plus. This is very original and fresh, it's 2 criticism's, the movie being too short, the other one of course, being the blue strobing in many scenes going across the top and bottom, but does give color to the great 'feel your there' atmosphere. Forget the haters. Make up your mind. You may very well impressed, and engrossed.

  • Franco and Rogen take on Little Rocketman

I really admire this smart stupid comedy merging with a serious backdrop. How truthful is this, really regarding this high profile Chinese authoritarian dictator, whose three word name I don't have to spell out. How well do we really know him, and while watching this one every time, I ponder this. It's like making an untruth a truth. Put on a hiatus back in 2013, as coinciding with heavy controversy and some atrocities involving you know who, I'm glad it got the okay to go ahead Franco and Rogen are perfectly cast, and really bring it, Franco notably of course, who was amazing in Spring Breakers. Franco sporting a great t.v interviewer name, and best bud Rogen as his producer, travel to China to give the interview of a lifetime, involving of course that young short chubby dictatorian dictator. Rogen and Franco play so well off of each other, and you'll find many laughs in this one, the opening song and subtitles, classic. The fake fruit store, appetizing, and be wowed by little rocket's man's car collection. The actor playing our oppressor is so good, it takes away from the other main performances, while the small players do well too, like the hot CIA woman who recruits our two. There is a some unnecessary sick violence, near the end, kind of momentarily despoiling the film, but I guess it's another plus, if you're a gore hound. The WIND OF CHANGE is a great choice song in the victorious end. So strap in, and enjoy the ride, but don't you dare miss it. Awesome movie poster too.

  • 86' must see

Otherwise known by the less original title in Australia, Catholic Boys, where we have a sort of different Brat pack, this time making fun and mockery of the church, and they're quite a mixed collection. Dillon's arrogant, reckless character, has you asking what's the hells he doing in this school, and why hasn't he been kicked out already. Amongst our score of likeable lads, and Dillon really does grow on ya, is new boy in school, quiet clean cut McCarthy who actually reminds you of his look in Less Than Zero, walking the same path. Here he actually wants to be a priest, or does he really. CB is quite a guilty pleasure, and I like the comedy and drama of this surprisingly good film, as you'll find a more serious one here. Most serious, that in the physical and cruel abuse from brother/teacher, Jay Patterson, where you'll really appreciate and applaud the party who finally puts this piece of s..t in his place. Patterson's performance as the ugly abuser, is the one that stays with you and he's not afraid to demonstrate his physical methods of punishment to these misbehaving rascals in front of his peers, like John Heard who doesn't come across as your normal brother/teacher, who's just watching for now. Mary Stuart Masterson as an independent spirit and McCarthy's love interest, again shows us why she's one of the greatest young and versatile actresses of the 80's. This is a well made comedy/drama, and one would say an overlooked film of 86. It deserves much more attention than that.

  • Could ofv been better, AF-FIRM-ATIVE

I somehow feel this somewhat exciting, intriguing stretched out court/drama/thriller should of offered more, but sometimes a less is more approach really works, and does here, but doesn't compensate for what could of been more intense or dramatic, and I'm talking mainly for Cruise's character, instead of a long set up, until Cruise is cornered and confronted, pressured, with no real way out his predicament, as this firm is a front, for illegal activity, and no one has ever left to pursue optional pasture. I must speak of Hackman's performance as a kind of shadily intriguing figure who takes his new prodigy under his wing, watched over by his dirty colleagues. This entertaining film has carefully picked out a selection of great actors, who all deliver, notably Hackman and bald headed Harris as an FBI Man, busting Cruise's chops. But surpassing them is Hunter as a floozy, who gets as too close to death as she wants, as an listening witness, completely inhabiting her character, while Strathairn is fun as Cruise's older dazed ex con brother. And for the film's resolution, there's many unanswered questions, which, leaves us wondering Cruise's life expectancy, the main one which makes us more intrigued. The Pelican Brief and The Client were better, where here, The Firm, like a ship, sails too smoother waves that carry the story through a near 2 and a half hour affair. A lot of laze around time.

  • Avoid Medley

The much better titled, Greetings From Medley Georgia, is only one of a few best things about this amateur affair. Apart from the amusing deputy, the Psycho reenactment revenge hoax, a guilty pleasured sex scene, and a goofy mechanic, another best thing is a repeated honkytonk soundtrack about a favorably spotted sixteen year old girl. 4 unruly young girls set out to Fort Lauderdale, when a tyre burst horribly derails their trip. One of them, happening about a murder, committed by the town's sort of John Leslie looking sheriff, post sex, takes off. Not so lucky are one of two other friends, who chance upon him later. This is a situation plot carrying movie, with many, so happen miss moments, as you'll see, but it's just so amateur, especially the stupid acting, with a nasty sudden open ending I really liked. The other best thing. The girls are not that likeable either, and about every character doesn't have much upstairs. Violence wise too, occasional, in very short supply.

  • What a story?

This film somehow feels it's based on a character's real story, but surprisingly it isn't. After 40 years of incarceration in a warm mental establishment, our larger than life Lillian (the always brilliant Cracknell) is finally free. Such an inspiration, our Lillian, as she really loves and treasures life, from stalking a bank teller, befriending a fetching young prostitute, and doing it with a rumpled bearded cab driver on open park grounds, plus delivering the baby of an escaped young patient/friend, our Lillian really does get into mischief. What's sad is the wrongness placed on Lillian still carrying a 40 year plus secret, involving incestuous and violent abuse, when a teen. Otto plays two roles, father and brother, and are good contrasting performances. This is a 94 minute drama, quite grueling, and Lillian's antics really tire us out. The real message here is, about not taking life for granted, living it to the full, but also having the courage to stand up and confess wrongs done to you, as in Otto's atrocities. Flaus is a standout as the cab driver, while too in a a really surprising cameo appearance, 'A YOUNG DOCTORS' face. Like Lillian, I feel too this movie has been misjudged and underrepresented by critics alike.

  • A scrooge of a time

One thing Bill Murray has a lot of is charisma, and it isn't wasted here, in this exciting supernatural hoot of a movie with a much welcomed cast of great actors. A different kind of Charles Dickens tale as in it's originality, sees ruthless, money hungry boss, Murray, finally getting his just deserts and being reformed by three special angels, and what character delights they are. There are many morals in this film, but it is so entertaining, and who better than Murray to steer it. He's so much fun. Bobcat Goldthwait is really good too, and watch for the lesser known John Moving Violations Murray as Murray's younger socially neglected brother, where too the older Brian Doyle Murray gets in on the action, playing of course, his father in a tailor made role. If you're looking for a pre Christmas film, this one hitting the cinemas perfectly, a few weeks shy of it in Oz, this is the one for you, followed up by Christmas Vacation. Oh my good. Scrooged, so much devilish fun.
