Or is it... I don't know. It looks interesting, important even, at least it's convinced that it is and it's rubbing it in your face constantly and very obviously.

It's cocky, smartass, obnoxious, it's not really funny, the scene being interrupted by the actor talking to the viewers is unbearable from the second time it happens, and it happens a whole lot.

I gave up before I could finish the first episode.

Typical Jerry Bruckheimer production and when you see his name in the opening credits you know what movie you're going to watch.

It's quite predictable, shallow, stereotyped, the characters are cocky, the jokes tongue-in-cheek... and that's all fine.

It's a well-done family blockbuster with decent acting, excellent special effects, an obsessing Hans Zimmer soundtrack and a proper narrative arc. After the endless orgy of reboots, spin-offs, sequels, etc, of the last 20 years, it's almost refreshing to see a movie like that again. One that puts the big bucks on pure entertainment, while being its own thing.

But it seems AI isn't quite ready to replace human writers just yet because this is simply appalling.

Lazy, incoherent, hollow, facile, stereotyped, conventional, telegraphed, crass, way beyond disbelief suspension, abysmal dialogues that explain the story... it could have been so bad that it's good but it takes itself way too seriously to have any of that kind of charm.

"A Masterclass in Tactical Thrillers"... ha ha, give me a break. Good reviews have almost become a sure sign of a bad show nowadays.
