Amazing series. That being said I dropped it before lol. This probably is one of those series you write off and avoid until you run out of things to watch. The reason being S1 animation is very low budget. Some of the Worst cgi iv seen used like PS2 era tech that goes on for 38 episodes. That being said the characters and story really carried it. I'd still give S1 a 7/10
Once you get to S2 it's a completely different series aesthetically. I just finished S3 today and wow, that coalition arc is definitely up there with attack on Titan S3 for me and I say that as a die hard AOT fan.
Highly recommend kingdom. Just push through S1 janky animation and it's visually very good after that.
My new top 10 as of today:
1. Attack on Titan 🇯🇵 - 🥇10/10 2. Avatar: T. L. A. B 🇺🇸 -🥈10/10 3. Vinland Saga 🇯🇵 - 🥉9/10 4. Lord of Mysteries 🇨🇳 - 9/10 5. Hunter x Hunter 🇯🇵 - 9/10 6. Kingdom 🇯🇵🇨🇳 - 9/10 7. Death Note 🇯🇵 - 9/10 8. Violet Evergarden 🇯🇵 - 9/10 9. Mushoku Tensei 🇯🇵 - 9/10 10. Re:Zero 🇯🇵 - 9/10
Yes I know avatar isn't specifically anime but its peak and belongs on every list so I include Donghua and western series in mine.

Not sure where this little gem came out of but I was pleasantly surprised. The animation is pretty good. Characters are fun. Story is good. Very surprised a random isekai anime came out this good in the sea of slop we usually get.
It's honestly hilarious how this random isekai is animated so much better than TBATE 🤣
I had a look at the studio and since they were small they mostly done outsourced studio work on big projects anime like attack on Titan and Vinland saga etc. It's nice to see their putting in that good effort and experience in their own shows. If they keep this up they might be a big studio with in a the next 10 years.

I originally had this pegged as a 5/10 generic isekai slop and an overlord rip off with average animation, however once you get to episode 10 you realise how much potential this show actually has going forward.
I will say though it needed 24 episodes not 12. It's only really just started cooking and I hope it gets a season 2.
I can tell by the likes on crunchyroll it had a lot of interest. It's averaging 20-30k per episode, where as a major project like lord of mysteries which I love is only getting a few thousand per episode.
The potential for this show is definitely there and I'll probably go read the novels myself.
