It like a surviving apocalypse movie because they thought to add the annoying teenager.
Why do they always do that, what does an annoying kid caracter do other then adding irritability to every scene in which they complain in the most annoying way?
I missed Cameron Diaz and I love Jamie Foxx in anything but I couldn't get past 20 minutes into the movie whith that young lady "challenging authority" in a very entitled spoiled manner that brings nothing to the story.
On the bright side there are a few enjoyable actions scenes and good chemistry between those two. I recommend it if you are bored and not bothered by obnoxious teenager behaviour.

I just now realised after watching Awakenings for the first time, that the show is based heavily on real life doctor Oliver Wolf Stacks and some of the medical cases are based of real medical cases that doctor Sacks wrote about just like the amazing case that Awakenings is based on.
I went and searched the Internet and read about him and it gave me a whole now perspective on the show.
The biggest difference is that the show takes place today rather than in dr Sacks lifetime and in my opinion it would have been more interesting to keep the story in the 70s and 80s. Nevertheless the show worth watching.

I watched a little more than half of the first episode and then fast forward though the rest. Except for Jeff Goldblom and Janet McTear, the rest of the actors are exceptionally terrible, the script that could've had some promise it stupid and badly executed.
I'm mostly annoyed because I got so excited when I stumbled over this on Netflix and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw one of my top favourite actors in a show. I should have known better, it is on Netflix after all. This just adds to a long list of terrible films and shows this year has brought so far. Don't get excited, you're only going to be disappointed!
