Born in Brooklyn, New York, Jose J.R. Yenque is the son of acclaimed Peruvian actress Teresa Yenque, known for her work on 30 Rock and Law & Order. Immersed in the world of storytelling from an early age, Yenque spent his childhood backstage in New York Citys vibrant theater scene, where he watched his mother bring characters to life. This experience ignited his lifelong passion for acting. Today, Yenque is a veteran actor with over a decade of professional experience spanning film, television, and theater, as well as a dedicated advocate for emotional health. His dedication to using the arts for social good earned him an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from California State University, San Marcos.
