The director of the clip for "Just like a Pill" was Francis Lawrence. The clip for the song is significantly different from previous Pink clips. "Get the Party Started" and "Do not Let Me Get Me" were lighter in nature than in the darker atmosphere, as reflected in the "Just like a Pill" video, for example, the fact that Pink can be seen in Black apparel throughout the entire clip. In the first scene, Pink lies on the floor. In the chorus she sings in front of the band. She also appears in a scene with white rabbits all over the room, and in another scene, she is shown with an elephant. There are also scenes where Pink sings in front of and among different people. In the second half of the clip, she runs along the hall, appears the song, then disappears in the bright doorway at the end of the clip.
