Well what do ya know. Currently this is only a review for Pre-Timeskip btw. Anyway, this show is actually amazing, despite some fillery stuff especially most of Thriller Bark and the beginning of Saboady, which I skipped through a lot. This show is honestly a masterpiece SO FAR. Better than the Live Action obviously and still very good. Marineford was an epic conclusion.

One year later, I have finished Post Time-Skip and caught up to the manga. This is the best series/show I’ve ever watched. When I started Post Timeskip I found myself not really enjoying some arcs like Fishman Island and Punk Hazard to the fullest extent. However, after some rethinking and rewatching I am happy to say Post Timeskip in general is at the same level, if not better then Pre Timeskip. The Yonko Saga is general is just so rewarding, despite some small issues with Wano’s resolution and definitely the pacing, I can say the writing quality is still unlike any show I have ever watched. 20 years straight of good, deep, and CONSISTENT writing, 1100 chapters. It’s never been done in history, as of now the manga is getting better and better and as we enter the FINAL SAGA. I expect this show to top it all off with a masterful conclusion.. hopefully, please don’t do an AoT.

This show is onpar with AoT, almost everything is perfect, its objectively better written, but in my opinion Season 2 kinda ruins some of the momentum of the show, but the final 4 episodes are better than any episodes from any tv show on this list.

This show genuinely has potential to be #1 on this list if the next 2 seasons are just as good as the first 2. Amazing storytelling and characters, objectively better writing than AT:LA and Clone Wars. It’s just not a complete story yet.. the character development is by far the best on the list.

More than a year later I have read the manga and caught up to the final chapter, which is yet to release but on its way.

All I can say is, this story is fantastic man. I expected a bit of a dip in writing quality as I was told by the general mass. And honestly, people can still legitimately argue that, but man, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the Eastern Expedition and Vinland Arcs. No spoilers of course but yea these arcs are still masterpieces, especially Vinland. The way this show rewards you with payoff is different than any other show I have watched, the payoff is.. seeing the main character do things. Seeing Thorfinn approach certain issues and watching how he deals with them using his ideology. Sometimes it can work and sometimes it doesn’t, but it’s so REWARDING everytime. Instead of the show telling you that a character has changed, which lets be honest, this show does that a lot, it EQUALLY if not more shows you how in every single chapter. Some small complaints is that in the manga some stuff does get a little immersion breaking, but it is not THAT big of a deal. Anyways, bye and I hope the final chapter hits well!

The most perfect show of all time… Best characters, best ost, best worldbuilding, best arcs, best foreshadowing, best baddies, best action, best animation (except s4 p1). So what can go wrong?

This show, serves as an example, of how to destroy your story and your characters in the shortest amount of time possible.
The ending is incredibly insulting, and the message it sends it would consider almost plain evil. If you are suffering and the only way you can survive is by killing the enemy. Then you must fight! Is what the show told me, FOR 4 SEASONS. Since Mikasa killed that robber, it has been the same message the entire time. The show presented a situation where Genocide is the ONLY acceptable option, and in the end, the characters fight that and everything MAGICALLY works itself out.

I dont know how I never watched this in my childhood, its objectively peak cartoon. The story is very well thought out, humour is amazing and still hits, characters are very well written. This show somehow makes filler episodes actually good and enjoyable.

Watched this show on my childhood, its still surprising how much it transformed and fixed the prequel trilogy (A BILLION DOLLAR TRILOGY OF FILMS) while also having great storytelling and action.

Season 1 was fantastic, definitely the best first season in an TV show ive ever seen. Season 2.. is a step down, the first 7 episodes had a lot of fantastic moments but some pretty major issues. However the final 2 episodes are just bad, like straight up bad and they ruin a lot of the characters. In the future the legacy of this show will only be Season 1.

This show has the best action in this list, the animation is genuinely top tier. Not much to offer in forms of amazing storytelling, its pretty generic, but god is it a joy to watch.

This show was a thrill to watch, honestly it’s better than the Boys, but I just wish it wasnt an limited series.

I need season 2 of this becuase season 1 was one of the most funtimes I have ever had watching a tv show, the comedy and acting is by far some of the best ive seen in a live action.

This show was very good to watch. Especially season 1. But in retrospective, it’s bland, theres a big gap between this and one piece. Depending on how Season 4 goes, I may drop this show out of the list. However, Homelander is peak.
