Back When I Kept Weird Hours

I used to work nights and graveyard and often when I did so, I’d pop in a movie when I got home (I might have just checked the mail and there’s a dvd from Netflix that I ordered), or I might just watch whatever’s on cable. Often when I would come to, that is, that I would awaken from an unexpected slumber right there on the couch, or even possibly the bed, there would be the most bizarre scenes emanating from my tv screen which was still playing these films. In addition to being half awake, I would also be jolted and disturbed. Keep in mind, this could be on a day off in the middle of the night, or in between shifts in the middle of the afternoon. Either way, a completely disorienting experience. These are those films that I still remember. Do not operate a remote control or watch these movies when drowsy.
