Andor covers a wide variety of controversial leftist ideology. Like the many layers violent, just revolutions have. It even goes as far as to showcasing how conventional politics is insufficient to change, how people who are complacent to the spread of fascism (apolitical people) eventually find fascim at their doorstep impacting them directly. It shows the sacrifices made by revolutionaries, and how they must sacrifice everything by accepting they won't be seen as the good guys within their lifetime by the majority of people. It also tackles dehumanization that eventually leads to genocides when resources/territory is needed for convenience. the last thing I can say is that it points out the power in sheer numbers over the wealthy
notes:- add stuff about the parallels it makes between incarceration and working/contributing to the economy
- add stuff about themes of incarceration for slave labor
- add stuff about how the empire deliberately performs multiple atrocities overtime, which makes it harder to keep track of/be outraged over

Lots of wasteful scenes and dialogue, almost as if to extend the runtime of an episode. The dialogue is high quality, but many characters feel like the same person in the ways in which they speak. There are lots of academic terms and language. The comedy is sometimes amazing (Tom & Greg). The problem with this show is, it feels like a FORTY HOUR MEETING. They never EVER stop talking about making some sort of deal or acquisition, and there is no room for anything else. No conglomerate of people are that obsessed with work.

As black mirror has become more popular, it has started to lose some of its original appeal. It should be writing-heavy, writing-dependent. I do not care if a famous celebrity or singer is in a newer episode—that's lame. It has its highs and lows, but mostly lows. A good show can't be only lows until the finale or mid-season finale. I dropped this show halfway into season 8. Negan's infamous introduction episode was probably its peak. It would be much better if episodes were reduced to 30 minutes each, because there is so much wasted time, especially in later seasons. It's almost like they seek out something to film to fill out the runtime. It was clear that this show was being milked since it garnered so many eyes, despite the producers having nothing meaningful to write each episode. Pretty insane how a stuntman died on set for this.
