Errol and his partner are intent on allowing a prospective client to win at poker so that he will sign a contract.

Errol tries to prevent his son from marrying a South American girl by buying the girl a ring. Complications arise when Errol's wife confiscates the ring, and Errol has to impersonate a local bandit to get it back.

Leon (Leon Errol) keeps making solo trips to Buffalo and his wife Dorothy (Dorothy Granger) suspicions that some hanky-panky is involved. The next time Leon shuffles off to Buffalo, Dorothy follows on the same airplane disguised as a beautiful-but-poor widow from the south. Dorothy, in disguise, quickly gets more of Leon's attention on the plane than she ever got at home. The plane is grounded short of Buffalo, and the ever-gallant Leon steps up to take care of the poor widow's hotel bill, but has to register her as his wife in order to do so. Dorothy reveals who she is, but Leon wiggles out of the situation in his usual wormy fashion.

Errol, threatened with the loss of his job and his wife, promises to lay off the horses, but is persuaded into a purchasing a sweepstakes ticket by a business associate.

Leon's friend Harry Harvey wants to go on to a party after they return from a fishing trip, so Leon takes Harry's car and heads for home. A blonde, thinking the car is a Taxi, gets in and orders Leon to take her home. The police chase the speeding Leon, and he eludes them but they get the license number and arrest Harry. Leon tells the Judge that Harry was on his way to get married, and the judge offers to perform the ceremony. Leon is forced to masquerade as the bride, which lasts only until Harry's wife shows up.

Errol's stenographer tells him she will have to leave her job because of her jealous husband, so he volunteers to explain away his doubts.

Two Leon Errols, father and son, each marry without telling the other--and end up at the same Niagara Falls hotel on their respective honeymoons.

A blonde who's sold Leon some pots and pans offers to cook a demonstration dinner. A neighbor sees her and tells Mrs. Errol that Leon is "entertaining" a blonde. Leon is busily hiding the girl from Mrs. Errol when her boyfriend shows up.

Leon is asked to stand in for the "Agony Aunt" at the local radio station. Having forgotten his own wedding anniversary, he answers a touching letter from a listener whose husband doesn't appreciate her by suggesting she finds another.

Through some complications he got himself into involving some oil stocks and his son's fiancee, Leon is up to his bald head in trouble when he invites the boss to dinner, and has to keep his guests apart.

Edgar's brother-in-law persuades Edgar to indulge in a little betting at the race track, and Edgar loses $900. While entertaining a banker to get on a loan, for a supposed worthy purpose, the bookie's henchman shows up demanding to be paid.

Edgar mistakenly believes that his family wants to kill him to collect his life insurance.

Edgar, his wife and his brother-in-law are riding through the desert in a convertible to see a restaurant that Edgar has purchased sight unseen.

Census taker Ed mistakes a maid for the lady of a mansion and discovers that she was once engaged to his father-in-law. He thereby hatches a scheme to reunite and marry the old boy off.

The kids take over city hall on the day that Ed has to appear in court.

In an effort to show wife Vivian her old boyfriend is in even in worse shape than he is, he invites him to spend the weekend but his father-in-law invites the wrong old beaux.

Ed finds himself in court through wearing a convict costume to a fancy dress party.

Edgar falls in love with another woman.

A quiet day at home is interrupted by arguments over Shakespearean speeches.

An actress is rehearsing a death scene in her apartment, but her neighbors all think it's the real thing.

Shemp Howard is a prizefighter in this Columbia All-Star Comedy who has a complex that leaves him a coward and unable to fight unless he hears "Pop Goes the Weasel." He hears it enough here, from various and outlandish sources, to eventually win his championship match.

A remake of 1949's Waiting In The Lurch featuring new footage with a banged-up Joe in the hospital telling his pretty nurse the story how his plan to marry his sweetheart ended up with her father suing him.

Joe Besser is sent on a spying mission with a beautiful female officer. Things, as usual when Joe is involved, don't go well and they are captured and about to be executed. The girl drops her cape to reveal she is scantily clad (the high point), the enemy is confused and she and Joe escape.

George is taken to the hospital in mistake for an accident victim. After his needless operation, he meets Nurse Gracie, who adds insanity to injury.
