Fuu, una camarera que trabaja en una casa de té, rescata a dos maestros espadachines, Mugen y Jin, de su ejecución para ayudarla a encontrar al "samurái que huele a girasoles".
It's hard to pick just one anime as the best, but it I had to it would Samurai Champloo, as it brings action, history, drama, comedy, tradgedy, samurais, baseball, hip hop, and epic sword fights into a single 26 episode binge worthy anime that you will leave you wanting more.
Samurai Champloo is the ultimate anti-hero anime. Its characters are very human and are very far from perfect. Despite being despicable, and having committed terrible crimes, deep down they are good people that were products of circumstance. The characters are not your typical benevolent heroes, but rather a triad of 3 characters that the average person can relate to. Despite having qualties that are like those we see in some of the greatest drama animes of all time, Samurai Champloo keeps a steady pace, and unlike many of those dramas, the story is constantly marching forward, action scene after action scene. Samurai Champloo was directed by the greatest anime director of all time, Shinichirō Watanabe, who also created Cowboy Bebop.
If you have yet to watch it, then your in for a treat.
