Eren didn’t really get any redemption and the message wasn’t Genocide is redeemable if you had a decent reason for doing it, and Armin was not thanking Eren for doing genocide. He was thanking him for doing what he literally just did a second ago, he thanked Eren for showing him the world beyond the walls during their talk with each other about Ymir. And the reason why he said he will be going to hell with Eren is because he was the one who showed Eren his Book which is also the reason why all this Genocide even happened. Eren did all of this because he was having a temper tantrum over the world beyond the walls not being the same way it was in Armin’s Book, as he said in The Final Chapters: Special 1 “The World beyond the Walls was nothing like Armin’s Book” and after that he also said he was very disappointed. Overall I do believe that this is the Best Finale possible, and I also do believe that it is a Masterpiece!

Everything that BoJack feels you feel, and seeing him get a free Churro because of his Mother’s death and knowing that him receiving that free Churro from this random stranger was nicer than anything his Mother has ever done for him is just heartbreaking.
