British producer Sze Wing Leong studied at Cambridge and at the Bournemouth and Pool College of Art and Design Film School. She is the eldest daughter of renowned Hong Kong director, Po Chih Leong.
She has worked in over a dozen countries. Most recently, she co-produced the China released motion picture "Baby Blues" starring singer Lam Fung which won a Best New Actor award at the Macao International Movie Festival Awards 2014 and was screened at the Brussels Fantastic International Film Festival 2014.
Her previous work has been selected at the Locarno, Hong Kong and Tokyo International Film Festivals. She has won a prestigious PROMAX Gold Award, a Gold Plaque at the Chicago International Television Awards (Hugos).
She started out in London making documentary films for Amnesty International British Section and London Fashion Week. She moved to Hong Kong to join the first and leading cable network - iCable - when it was starting up and was presenter and producer at the launch of the International Channel. She went on to be producer at the launch of and then senior producer at Turner Broadcasting Network's TNT & Cartoon Network. Shortly after which, the critically acclaimed documentary series of films "Riding the Tiger" was commissioned by Britain's Channel 4. This was followed by a second series of films for Channel 4.
She has directed and produced second unit, action and stunts sequences such as for "Out of Reach" (Screen Gems) and "The Darkling" (USA Network). She has also directed and won awards for her Asia Pacific regional commercials for 4A agencies. In 2008, she directed the international campaign for the Beijing Olympics Equestrian Events 2008 and in 2007 the official films celebrating the 10th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to China.
She is a member of BAFTA LA. She is fluent in English and Cantonese.
