Armaan Biviji is an LA based award winning film and TV composer. Having worked for numerous shorts, features, and TV show projects, Armaan composes and orchestrates across a myriad of various styles and genres.
From lush orchestral passages, to deep and dramatic hybrid electronic underscores, his experience writing for orchestras and producing or electronic showcases has manifested the powerful duality to his hybrid writing style today.
Starting off as a rock and blues guitarist, Armaan explored the world of orchestral and symphonic writing, big band and classic jazz band arrangements, and synthetic and electronic sound design, during his time at the Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA. When needed, he draws from both his guitar roots and Indian cultural upbringing to truly break through the confines of conventional genre norms for his projects.
In May 2019, he scored the NHL TV spot titled "NHL - Feel" that aired across the country over 38 different national TV networks, during the Stanley Cup Playoffs that were held in 2019. He was also awarded the title of honorable mention for the globally held Indie Film Music scoring contest, for his score on the animated short titled "Poulette's Chair" in May 2020. Later that year, in October 2020, he composed the original soundtrack for short film titled "Reject" by Dir. David Chai. In the intermediary, he composed the soundtrack for song scores in the thriller feature titled "Demigod" by Dir. Miles Doleac and prod. Jim Bulian. Having built a strong foundation and rapport with Dir. Chai from "Reject", Armaan went on to compose full score of Season 1 of NTD network TV show titled "A Good Cop" that aired from late 2021 to early 2022.
Armaan is slated for a myriad of upcoming projects involving 2 Hollywood features, a star studded short, and multiple other Bollywood based features through the course of 2022.
