She left her hometown and headed to the movie capital of the world, Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in the Entertainment Industry. In a short amount of time, she began working for the legendary Berry Gordy (Motown Records/ Jobete Publishing). While under Mr. Gordy's tutelage, Cheyenne was instrumental in organizing many high-profile events. One career highlight is the Motown 30, a star- studded television special celebrating the achievements of its artists!
After meeting talent agent, Sharon Kemp, Cheyenne transitioned her career from music to another area in the business and began working at Sharon's agency. In 2009, Cheyenne was inspired to launch her own management company, Cheyenne Martin Management, which was the springboard for many projects including serving as an Executive Producer on Message From A Mistress. This served as the catalyst into the realm of Film and Television full time. In 2016, Cheyenne launched another phase in her career, establishing her film company, Emerald City Entertainment.
Cheyenne Martin has a passion for entertainment, mentoring and empowering women through the Cheyenne Martin Cares Foundation. Her philanthropic efforts garnered her a celebratory day; The Cheyenne Martin Day, which was declared, February 2nd 2021 by the City of Pittsburgh.
