Ash Wing

Ash Wing is an Australian filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He is the founder of 616 Films, a filmmaking collective that operates out of LA and Sydney, Australia. He has directed many short films, documentaries and music videos, some have received official selection into festivals, including - LA Shorts International Film Festival, Zed Fest LA, San Francisco IndieFest, Byron Bay International Festival, Southern California International Film Festival, and Brooklyn Sci Fi Festival. He has directed music videos in the US and Australia for bands that include Bum Bag, No Vacation, Fuzz Foxx, Hot Oil, Castlecomer and Pink Zinc. He has been an editor for Playable Video since 2019. He is trained in film having graduated from AFTRS(Australian National Film School), as well as having worked in various assistant roles for high end commercial production companies in Sydney.
