Jodie Winter-Smith

Jodie is a UK based Hair & Make up Artist, Art & Music teacher, musician and fine artist. Jodie grew up in the industry whose parents were both entertainers and industry professionals and spent a lot of time based in Cardiff at the HTV studios where her father was resident musical director. Jodie's early years were that of a performer, dancing, acting and successfully competing in nationwide festivals later becoming a member of Bristol Ballet Company, the royal academy of dance and the Bristol light operatic company (BLOC) where she performed in many theatre shows from the age of 6.

In later years, Jodie developed her musical ability as well as her artistic skill and worked as a session musician and vocalist from the age of 15. Jodie had already (simultaneously) won an art award at age 12 and was beginning to find that Art & Music were equally as important in her life. Jodie released her own album in 2003 whilst also making various TV appearances as an extra, supporting artist and also a musician. Jodie furthered her educational training in both Art & Music disciplines and later expanded upon her love for theatrical hair and make up and enrolling on specialised courses in order to maximise on her artistic potential and career demand.

Jodie now maximises on all of her skill strengths using Art, Music, dance & theatre in to the world of media make up and design. Jodie set up a small beauty company 'Aponi Artistry' in order to bring together local Make up Artists, Hair Stylists, Beauticians and Artists and create a community among skill sets and supplying specialised and talented individuals across the UK. Jodie can take care of Make up & Hair design as well as leading in SFX or assisting in any creative area.
