Fraser Pemberton is an award-winning writer and director, and co-founder of the creative collective Dogmilk Films and the production company Cut by Dog. His most recent film, Faceless (2025), co-directed with William Jaka, won Best Live Action Short at the Sydney Film Festival and earned him the Emerging Australian Filmmaker Award at the Melbourne International Film Festival. Celebrated for its ambitious triptych structure and striking exploration of identity and class in contemporary Australia, Faceless cemented Fraser's reputation as one of the country's most promising new cinematic voices. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts with a Master's in Narrative Film, he continues to develop bold, emotionally resonant work as he moves into his debut feature.
