Born in the vibrant metropolis of Guadalajara, Mexico - a city that pulsates with the energy of a bustling town. Raised in the idyllic countryside of Jalisco, she developed a deep affection for nature and an unquenchable thirst for the excitement of city living. Her introverted nature, however, drew her to the serenity of the mountains, and the quiet refuge of books, which she has loved since childhood.
Elizabeth soon realized that her perspective on the world was different from those around her. She possessed an uncanny ability to perceive the extraordinary in ordinary things - to observe, for example, the grains of salt nestled within the grains of sand on the shore of the ocean. This unique perspective led her to isolate herself, seeking refuge in the pages of books.
Writing provided Elizabeth with a means of escape from reality and a way to organize the myriad thoughts and emotions that swirled within her. As the years passed, writing became a need, and she has never stopped since.
Elizabeth's journey as a writer began in 2013 when she earned her Bachelor's degree in Communications and TV Production from the prestigious Universidad del Valle de Mexico, with a minor in Creative Writing from the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. She also received a Screenwriting Certificate from Guillermo Arriaga, the renowned writer of Amores Perros, 21 Grams, and Babel. Recently, she decided to follow her passion and pursue a Master's degree in Arts from the renowned New York Film Academy (NYFA) in Los Angeles in 2016.
Elizabeth's hard work and dedication paid off when she received a scholarship to NYFA. She embarked on a journey through the world of filmmaking across the US, Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile, Spain, and India. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience as a screenwriter and first assistant director, and her talents have taken her to various film industries worldwide.
Today, Elizabeth boasts an impressive ten years of experience in diverse film industries worldwide. Her unique perspective and boundless imagination continue to drive her, making her an invaluable asset to any creative team.
