On this week’s episode of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart went after Donald Trump for enacting sweeping immigration reform after an Afghan national was accused of shooting two National Guard members on Nov. 26 in Washington, DC.
As a result, the United States halted immigration from Afghanistan. Trump also said he would reassess green cards for immigrants living in the United States from 19 countries.
“That horrible act was done by one individual who was part of a larger group of Afghans who were brought here because they risked their lives helping the United States during our invasion of Afghanistan,” Stewart said.

But what happened to Zerg after that shocking, historic win? Zerg, from Venture, California, won $14,401, after a Final Jeopardy question tripped Jennings up in December 2004. Jennings had $14,400 while Zerg had $10,000. In “Business & Industry,” the clue was “Most of this firm’s 70,000 seasonal white-collar employees work for 4 months of the year.” With just Jennings and Zerg in the final, the champion had a greater chance of winning than against two opponents. The other contestant was in the negatives, so they didn’t compete in Final Jeopardy.
