The legendary film producer
Roger Corman has died at age 98 leaving behind a great legacy of over 400 titles, most of them low-budget cult films. He liked to call himself the ‘Orson Welles of the Z movie’.
One of Corman's greatest legacies is that he worked with many noted filmmakers which he supported early in their careers. Many of these filmmakers recognized Corman's support and the teachings he left them.
Corman also gave early starring roles to several actors who grew to become household names in cinema.
All of these people that launched their careers under Corman's watch are sometimes referred to as "The Corman Film School".
